Seven Para cyclists compete double at World Championship in Huntsville

The 2026 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships were held in Huntsville, Alabama, where seven Para cyclists achieved a time trial and road race double. France topped the medal table with 15 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze medals, with Alexandre Leaute winning both the MC2 time trial and road race for his 26th and 27th individual UCI World Championship titles, having returned from an injury that sidelined him in April. The USA and China each finished with six golds, while Great Britain placed fourth with three golds.
