SGA opts for 'respect' over record, subs out of blowout to end 20-point streak

Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) chose to voluntarily sub out of a blowout game, ending his streak of scoring 20 or more points in consecutive games. Rather than padding his stats to extend the record, SGA cited 'respect' as his reason for sitting out the remainder of the lopsided contest. The decision highlights his prioritization of sportsmanship over individual milestones.
