Shane Lowry runs away with record 11-stroke victory at Amgen Irish Open, Rory McIlroy closes on positive note
Shane Lowry won the Amgen Irish Open at Trump International Ireland in Doonbeg with a record 11-stroke victory, closing with a 7-under 63 to finish at 23-under 257. His winning margin broke the previous tournament record of 264 set by Jon Rahm at Lahinch in 2019. Lowry, playing in front of his home crowd and President Donald Trump, sealed the win with a 30-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole.
