Shanghai rematches take centre stage in Xiamen

The Wanda Diamond League continues in Xiamen, one week after record-breaking events in Shanghai, with many of the same athletes competing in rematches. A headline clash in the men's 400m hurdles features three-time world champion and world record-holder Karsten Warholm against 2022 world champion Alison dos Santos, who has beaten the Norwegian in their last three head-to-head meetings, including a 300m hurdles victory in Shanghai. They will be joined by world leader Trevor Bassitt, two-time world bronze medallist Abderrahman Samba, and other top competitors.
