Shaun Edwards set for sudden, shock exit from France team

Shaun Edwards is set to depart as France's defence coach just two months after helping the team win a seventh Six Nations title, according to L'Équipe. He is expected to be replaced by Gerald Bastide, who previously worked with the French national setup under Guy Noves between 2015 and 2017 and has been coaching the French women's team's defence since January. Bastide is reportedly set to make his return with the France A side against England A in Vannes on June 19.
