Shaunae Miller-Uibo: running free again

Two-time Olympic 400m champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo, 32, is making a strong comeback after having two children — a son in 2023 and a daughter in 2025. The Bahamian sprinter, who last won a global title at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon, recently competed in Diamond League events in China, finishing second in the 200m in both Keqiao and Xiamen with times of 22.26 and 22.04 respectively. Elite coach and statistician PJ Vazel noted that her sprint mechanics have improved to the point where she appears not just back to her best, but potentially better than before.
