Sheeraz vs Begic: Briton wins super-middleweight title with stoppage win

Britain's Hamzah Sheeraz, 26, claimed his first world title with a second-round stoppage victory over German Alem Begic, 39, in Egypt to win the vacant WBO super-middleweight crown. Sheeraz dominated from the opening bell, using sharp jabs and uppercuts before a left hook to the body sent Begic down. The Londoner has now won 19 of his 24 fights inside the distance.
