Sheffield set for second major national boxing facility

England Boxing is in talks to take over a former River Island distribution centre warehouse near Meadowhall and the M1 motorway in Sheffield, which would become a major new national boxing facility. The site would serve as a base for the next generation of English boxing talent and would complement the existing GB Boxing base at the English Institute of Sport in the city, giving Sheffield two major national boxing facilities.
