Shericka Jackson on her return to fitness ahead of Commonwealth Games 2026: “I’m healthy now, so I’m happy”
Jamaican sprinter Shericka Jackson, a five-time Olympic medallist, is making a measured comeback from the injury troubles that ruled her out of the Paris 2024 Olympics. The 31-year-old has shown strong early-season form, clocking a season's best 10.81 seconds to reclaim the Jamaican national 100m title and recording two Diamond League 200m victories in China, before finishing sixth (11.02 seconds) at the Prefontaine Classic. She plans to compete in the 4x100m relay at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games to stay sharp as she continues her return to full fitness.
