‘She’s buzzing’: Charley Hull to face world No 1 Nelly Korda in Solheim Cup opener

The 20th Solheim Cup begins Friday in the Netherlands with a headline foursomes clash between world No 1 Nelly Korda (paired with Allisen Corpuz) and Europe's Charley Hull (paired with debutant Lottie Woad). The USA are defending the trophy they won in Virginia in 2023, with Korda having previously edged out Hull at the 2025 US Women's Open in June. Three further foursomes matches will also take place, featuring players including Maja Stark, Linn Grant, Rose Zhang, and Leona Maguire.
