Shohei's recent surge coincides with Dodgers' dominant stretch
The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-5 on Tuesday night, with Shohei Ohtani playing a key role despite being intentionally walked in the seventh inning for the first time in 26 games. Ohtani had already contributed a double and a two-run triple before the intentional walk, after which Andy Pages hit a sacrifice fly and Mookie Betts drove in Ohtani with an RBI single to extend the lead. Arizona scored three late runs off relievers Kyle Hurt and Will Klein, but the Dodgers held on for the victory.
