Sidbury aims to continue rebuilding after ‘challenging’ times

British wheelchair racer Danny Sidbury, 32, is competing at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Switzerland (Thursday to Saturday) as he continues his recovery following a difficult Paris 2024 Paralympic campaign, where he withdrew before his final race after falling ill at the preparation camp. The T54 specialist, who holds European silver in the 1500m and world bronze medals in the 800m and 5000m, has been working with a psychologist to address the mental and physical toll of Paris, as well as managing ongoing wrist injuries. Sidbury says he is now in a 'much better headspace' and has adopted a healthier approach to racing.
