Significant damage for Netcompany and INEOS riders in the Tour d'Auvergne

Netcompany INEOS suffered a disastrous day on Friday during the first mountain stage of the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes 2026, with both Oscar Onley and Joshua Tarling crashing out. Tarling, who crashed from the early breakaway, was confirmed to have broken his collarbone and could not continue. Intended Tour de France leader Onley also crashed on the final descent, while teammates Carlos Rodríguez and Kévin Vauquelin lost significant time to general classification rivals.
