Sigrid Haugset stuns Tour de France Femmes favourites by storming to stage win

Norwegian cyclist Sigrid Haugset pulled off a stunning solo breakaway of 90km to win stage three of the Tour de France Femmes, taking the overall race lead in the process. The Norwegian national champion described the victory as the biggest success of her career, saying she never thought it was possible. Haugset was so exhausted at the finish in Poligny that she was unable to lift her arms off the bike to celebrate.
