Sillinger signs 3-year, $13.875 million contract with Blue Jackets

Cole Sillinger signed a three-year, $13.875 million contract (AAV $4.625 million) with the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, avoiding an arbitration hearing he had filed for on July 5. The 23-year-old forward recorded 33 points (8 goals, 25 assists) in 81 games last season and has totaled 140 points in 367 career regular-season games since being selected 12th overall in the 2021 NHL Draft. Goalie Jet Greaves also avoided arbitration, signing a three-year, $15 million deal with Columbus on Thursday.
