Simplified penalty structure recommended in women’s lacrosse

The Division I Women's Lacrosse Rules Subcommittee and the Division II and III Women's Lacrosse Rules Committee have jointly proposed changes to simplify and refine the sport's penalty structure. The modifications are set to take effect for the 2026-27 academic year. The recommendations were put forward by NCAA governing bodies overseeing women's lacrosse across all three divisions.
