Six-time Grand Slam champion Salisbury retires

Joe Salisbury, a former world number one doubles player and six-time Grand Slam doubles champion, has retired from professional tennis. The Londoner chose the 2025 US Open as his final tournament, where he reached the semi-finals alongside long-time partner Rajeev Ram, who also retired. Salisbury and Ram had notably made history in 2023 by becoming the first pair to win three consecutive US Open men's doubles titles.
