Sky extends Formula 1 rights deal into next decade

Sky Group has secured a long-term extension to its Formula 1 broadcasting rights, retaining exclusive live coverage in the UK and Ireland through to the end of the 2034 season, with the renewed deal adding five years to existing agreements. Sky Sports and streaming platform NOW will continue to broadcast all Formula 1 sessions, qualifying, sprints, and Grand Prix races in both the UK/Ireland and Italy, along with rights to Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 Academy, and Porsche Supercup. In the UK, highlights of every Grand Prix and live coverage of the British Grand Prix will remain available free-to-air, while in Italy, TV8 will continue to broadcast select races including the Italian Grand Prix.
