Sky TV extends Formula 1 rights deal in UK and Ireland to 2034
Sky Sports has agreed a five-year extension to its Formula 1 broadcasting rights deal, keeping it as the exclusive live broadcaster in the UK and Ireland until 2034. The deal covers all sessions on Sky Sports F1 and streaming service NOW, with highlights and home nation Grands Prix remaining free-to-air, and also includes Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 Academy and Porsche Supercup. Formula 1 also confirmed Sky Italia will continue broadcasting in Italy until 2032, with F1 president Stefano Domenicali praising Sky's role in growing the sport, noting the renewal follows a record 2025 season in which Lando Norris won the Drivers' Championship.
