
Snooker: Iranian Vafaei beats World No. 1 Trump
Hossein Vafaei of Iran knocked World No. 1 Judd Trump out of the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible, winning a final frame decider after overcoming a 9-7 overnight deficit. Vafaei secured his place in the quarterfinals for the first time, aided by breaks of 106 and 91. The result came on the same day Ronnie O'Sullivan was also eliminated 13-12 by John Higgins, while Trump โ a one-time world champion in 2011 โ squandered a 25-point lead in the deciding frame.
