Softball Falls to No. 1 Alabama on Day 1 of WCWS

UCLA softball fell to No. 1 Alabama by a score of 6-3 on Day 1 of the Women's College World Series (WCWS) in Oklahoma City, OK on May 28. The Bruins had entered the tournament on a strong run, winning six of their previous seven games including two wins each over South Carolina and UCF. Their next game is scheduled for May 29 at 6:30 PM PT against Arkansas.
