Sources: Carrick to manage Man United vs. Chelsea amid uncertain future

Michael Carrick, 45, is expected to manage Manchester United against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, having taken charge of training at Carrington on Tuesday morning. His position remains uncertain despite receiving notable fan support during and after the recent defeat to Bournemouth, where players were booed at full time. The United front office has taken note of the positive fan reaction toward Carrick, which may influence decisions about his future role.
