Sources: FA chief demands docs on FIFA equity plan

FA chairwoman and FIFA vice president Debbie Hewitt has written to FIFA president Gianni Infantino demanding the release of all documents related to his withdrawn proposal for private investors to buy stakes in FIFA Forward Enterprise, a subsidiary that would organize future World Cups. Hewitt has also requested all correspondence regarding the reversal of USA forward Folarin Balogun's one-match suspension from last summer's tournament, with the FIFA council set to meet on October 15. The development coincides with UEFA taking legal action against Infantino over the equity plan, which UEFA vice president Laura McAllister said 'struck at the very heart of the principles of the game.'
