Sources: JJ Gabriel close to joining Real Madrid

Real Madrid are close to signing 16-year-old Manchester United prospect JJ Gabriel, beating out competition from Barcelona and other European clubs, according to ESPN sources. Gabriel, who had been training in Barcelona with a personal trainer, is now in Madrid as the deal nears completion. Manchester United, who had refused to facilitate his departure after Gabriel and his representatives asked to leave earlier this season, are considering legal action if illegal approaches were made while he was under contract.
