Sources: Malaysia could be on F1 2026 calendar
Malaysia's Sepang circuit has emerged as a serious candidate to host a Formula 1 race in 2026 if Bahrain cannot reschedule its Grand Prix, which was cancelled along with the Saudi Arabian GP due to the Iran war. Bahrain had been targeting the October 4 weekend between the Azerbaijan and Singapore races, but a missile strike on Bahrain this week has made rescheduling increasingly unlikely. Sepang hosted F1 from 1999 to 2017, with Max Verstappen winning the final Malaysian Grand Prix.
