Sources: Ronaldo issues ultimatum to Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo has issued an ultimatum stating he will not return to the Portugal national team while Jorge Jesus remains coach, sources told ESPN. The dispute centres on Ronaldo's frustration that Jesus failed to deliver a previously agreed-upon public apology at his most recent press conference. Ronaldo initially left the squad after being an unused substitute in Portugal's 2-1 Nations League win away to Norway on September 27.
