Sources: United consider Howe, Nagelsmann to replace under-fire Carrick

Manchester United are considering replacing head coach Michael Carrick after the club lost 3-0 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford, their eighth game without a win across all competitions, leaving them 16th in the Premier League just a point above the relegation zone. The defeat followed a 4-1 Champions League loss to Como earlier that week. Sources told ESPN that Eddie Howe, Julian Nagelsmann, Kieran McKenna, and Antonio Conte are among the candidates being evaluated as potential replacements.
