South Africa v Australia: first men’s cricket Test, day two – live

Australia resumed their first innings on day two of the opening men's Test against South Africa at Kingsmead, reaching 198-6 with Matt Renshaw on 51 and captain Pat Cummins on 39. South Africa's bowlers Nortje and Jansen applied pressure through short-pitched deliveries, with Cummins weathering several uncomfortable moments including a blow to the shoulder. Renshaw appeared composed at the crease, handling the short ball well as Australia looked to build their total.
