South Africa vs Australia Test series: 'Sandpapergate' adds to intrigue in rematch of infamous 2018 ball-fixing scandal

South Africa and Australia are set to face each other in a Test series that revisits the infamous 2018 'Sandpapergate' ball-tampering scandal, in which Australian players were caught using sandpaper to alter the condition of the ball during a match in South Africa. Former South Africa captain Shaun Pollock, speaking on the Sky Sports Cricket Podcast, suggested some fans may dress up in reference to the scandal but does not expect the atmosphere to become too intense. The first Test will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Cricket from 7:30am on Friday.
