Spanish GP plans to change Madring after fierce criticism from F1 drivers
The inaugural Spanish Grand Prix held at the new Madring circuit in Madrid was won by Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, but the race drew widespread criticism for its lack of overtaking, with fewer than ten passes completed over 57 laps. Drivers including defending world champion Lando Norris, who finished third, condemned the circuit design, with McLaren's Andrea Stella calling overtaking 'impossible.' Discussions are already underway to alter the circuit layout ahead of next year's race.
