Spence swaps Spurs for 'new chapter' at Inter

England defender Djed Spence has completed a transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Inter Milan, signing a five-year deal for a fee of around €30 million. The 26-year-old arrives as a replacement for Denzel Dumfries, who moved to Real Madrid earlier this summer, and departs Spurs after 85 appearances and a Europa League triumph. Spence also featured prominently for England at the 2026 World Cup, playing all eight games including the semifinal defeat to Argentina and the third-place playoff win over France.
