Sports - Tour de France: Evenepoel wins time trial to strengthen second overall

Remco Evenepoel won the Stage 16 individual time trial of the 2026 Tour de France, held between Évian-les-Bains and Thonon-les-Bains on July 22, finishing 28 seconds ahead of Tadej Pogacar and 1'04'' clear of Mattias Skjelmose. The victory came two days after his win at Plateau de Solaison. Evenepoel remains second overall, 4'32'' behind Pogacar, who holds the yellow jersey.
