Stones: England "suffering" after World Cup loss

England defender John Stones has spoken of the team's emotional pain following their 2-1 semifinal defeat to Argentina at the World Cup on Wednesday, in which Enzo Fernández equalised late before substitute Lautaro Martínez scored a stoppage-time winner. The loss ended England's hopes of reaching their first World Cup final since 1966 under manager Thomas Tuchel. England must now refocus for a third-place play-off against France on Saturday in Miami.
