Streaking Oilers represent significant challenge for winless Kings

The Edmonton Oilers will face the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, October 12, 2026, bringing a five-game points streak and four-game winning streak into the matchup. Edmonton remains the NHL's only team without a regulation loss after defeating the San Jose Sharks 3-1 on Saturday, with goals from Mattias Ekholm, Vasily Podkolzin, and Alex Formenton, while goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped 19 shots. The Kings, meanwhile, are winless to start the season as the Oilers complete a three-game California road trip.
