Super League closes in on gamechanging investment from Australia’s NRL

NRL officials have traveled to England to hold talks with Super League clubs as a landmark investment deal between rugby league's two premier competitions nears completion. The proposed agreement would see the NRL invest a significant sum into Super League while taking authoritative control of the competition to improve its long-term financial stability. Additionally, Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves have confirmed they will play an on-the-road match in Dublin in 2027.
