Super veterans are victorious as ladies lift league title

Oakham Tennis Club's ladies super veterans side won the Leicestershire Premier League title in their first ever top flight season, finishing undefeated throughout the campaign. They secured the title with a decisive 7-1 victory at Oadby in the final match of the season, having been third in the table before that deciding game. Runners-up Charnwood finished four points behind Oakham, who were captained by Jackie Staines and used 13 different players across the two-month season.
