Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Flagler men’s tennis wins the national title!

Flagler College men's tennis team won their first NCAA national title with a 4-3 victory over previously undefeated Barry University on Sunday at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Arizona. Flagler, seeded sixth in the tournament with a 24-4 record, defeated the top-ranked and undefeated Barry squad (25-1) to claim the program's third overall national title, following NAIA titles in 1977 and 1986. The win also snapped a 23-match losing streak against Barry, with Flagler's last victory in the series dating back to February 19, 1994.
