Sussex propose T10 tournament for counties missing out on Hundred boost

Sussex cricket club's new chair Ed Warner has proposed a T10 tournament for counties that do not host Hundred matches, to run during August alongside the One-Day Cup. The suggestion comes amid frustration from smaller counties over limited home cricket during the summer, with Sussex having only four days of home play during this year's Hundred, which runs from 21 July to 16 August. Despite Sussex falling under the Southern Brave franchise, the team plays its home matches at Hampshire's Utilita Bowl rather than at a Sussex ground.
