Suzuki out 2-4 weeks for Canadiens, ironman streak to end at 546
Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki will miss 2-4 weeks with an upper-body injury, ending his ironman streak of 546 consecutive NHL games β the second-longest active streak behind Brent Burns (1,017) and 20th longest in NHL history. The 27-year-old forward, who has never missed a game since his debut in the 2019-20 season, was injured after recording a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. Suzuki has posted 12 points in nine games this season and 488 points in his regular-season career.
