Svechnikov's OT goal lifts Hurricanes past Canadiens in Game 3 of East Final

Andrei Svechnikov scored at 14:06 of overtime to give the Carolina Hurricanes a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final at Bell Centre on Monday, with the winning goal assisted by Seth Jarvis through a screen set by Sebastian Aho. Shayne Gostisbehere and Taylor Hall also scored for Carolina, while Frederik Andersen made 11 saves. The Hurricanes, now 5-0 in overtime during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, lead the best-of-7 series 2-1, with Game 4 scheduled for Wednesday in Montreal.
