Swanson's ninth-inning blast stakes Cubs to 10th straight win

Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson hit a go-ahead two-run homer off Dodgers reliever Tanner Scott in the ninth inning on Friday night, lifting Chicago to a 6-4 victory over Los Angeles. The win extended the Cubs' winning streak to 10 consecutive games, the longest for the franchise since an 11-game streak in 2016 and the longest April streak since 1970. Dodgers starter Emmet Sheehan had dominated Chicago through 6 1/3 innings, recording 10 strikeouts before the Cubs mounted their late rally.
