Swindon athletics club triumphs at elite national event

Swindon Harriers won the UK National Athletics League on 28 May 2026, amassing 582 points to finish 122 points ahead of second-place Cardiff Athletics, with Yeovil Olympiads and hosts Yate & District AC further behind. It marked the club's first appearance at elite level in 25 years, with club chairman Howard Moscrop describing the victory as a fantastic reflection of the competing athletes. Swindon Harriers filled 71 of the 78 available places in the programme, with standout contributions from Ella Spencer, Freya Davidse, and Rachel Oram in the women's middle distance events.
