
Syndicate members were sold fictitious hospitality for next year's Cheltenham Festival, owners claim
Owners of Deva Racing claim they were sold fictitious hospitality packages for the Cheltenham Festival by Ryan Tongue, leaving them thousands of pounds out of pocket. Between March 12 and 18, Tongue emailed syndicate members offering places at the Chez Roux restaurant on the opening day of the festival, promising a luxury dining experience including champagne, canapes, and a four-course menu. The syndicate collapsed in July, and members say they never received what they paid for.
