Tarik Skubal contract predictions: Ace's new deal could break multiple MLB records for a pitcher

Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal is expected to sign a new contract that could break multiple MLB records for pitchers. The current record for a pitcher's total contract value is held by Yoshinobu Yamamoto at $325 million, while the record average annual value (AAV) for a pitcher stands at $43.33 million, currently shared by two players. Skubal's anticipated deal is projected to surpass one or both of these benchmarks.
