Taylor fourth as Richards makes 100m freestyle final

Teenager Theodora Taylor finished fourth in the women's 100m freestyle final at the Commonwealth Games, and also competed in the women's 4x200m freestyle relay alongside Medi Harris, Alexandra Bastone, and Sophie Davies, with that team finishing sixth. Double Olympic champion Matt Richards qualified for the men's 100m freestyle final, scheduled for Tuesday night. The events took place on July 27, 2026.
