Tennis, ATP – China Open 2026: Djokovic knocks out Bu

Novak Djokovic, seeded sixth, came from a set down to defeat Chinese wild card Yunchaokete Bu 4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2 on Friday to reach the China Open quarterfinals in Beijing. The victory extended Djokovic's perfect record at the tournament to 31-0, equaling Rafael Nadal's 31-0 start at Roland-Garros as the best opening run at a single event for a man in the Open Era. The 39-year-old also became the oldest ATP 500 quarterfinalist since the category was established in 2009, surpassing a record previously held by Roger Federer.
