Arthur Fils, 22, claimed his maiden Masters 1000 title at the 2026 Cincinnati Open by defeating Frances Tiafoe 6-3, 1-6, 6-0 in 1 hour and 28 minutes. The victory is Fils' fifth career title and second of 2026 following Barcelona, lifting him to a career-high ranking of No. 11 in the world. He becomes the seventh French man to win an ATP Masters 1000 title and the first since Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's triumph in Toronto in 2014, ending a 12-year wait.
