Stefanos Tsitsipas, currently ranked world No. 85, defeated Kazakhstan's Aleksandr Shevchenko 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in the semi-finals of the EFG Swiss Open Gstaad on Saturday, booking his place in Sunday's final — his first tour-level final since winning the Dubai title in 2025. The unseeded Greek eliminated three seeded players on his way to the final, previously beating Arthur Rinderknech, Jerome Kym, and Ignacio Buse. He will face Belgian seventh seed Raphael Collignon, who came from a set down to defeat Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundolo 1-6, 7-6(5), 7-5 in the other semi-final.
