Tennis stars end Wimbledon media protest early after prize-money discussions
A group of top tennis players, including Coco Gauff, Jannik Sinner, and Aryna Sabalenka, ended a media protest at Wimbledon after just two days following talks with All England Club (AELTC) officials, including chair Deborah Jevans, tournament director Jamie Baker, and board member Tim Henman. The players had been limiting media commitments to 15 minutes as part of an escalating campaign for prize-money reforms at Grand Slams, building on a similar protest at the French Open. The AELTC pledged to return with specific proposals addressing prize-money increases and other areas of reform.
