Terence Crawford responds to Turki Alalshikh’s offer to unretire for Canelo rematch
Terence Crawford, who retired with a perfect 42-0 record in December 2025 after becoming a three-division undisputed champion by defeating Canelo Alvarez via unanimous decision in September, has responded to Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh's request that he come out of retirement for a rematch. Crawford's victory over Alvarez made him a five-weight world champion, leaving little else to accomplish in the sport. Meanwhile, Canelo is set to face WBC super-middleweight champion Christian Mbilli in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on September 12, as he looks to reclaim a portion of his undisputed crown.
